The World according to Dina

Do you know the Holy Island of Lindisfarne?
It’s a tidal island about 3 miles off the coast of Northumberland and only a few miles from the Scottish border. You can reach this idyllic place by a causeway at low water only.

Das ist eine Gezeiteninsel 5 km vor der Küste Northumberlands, die nur bei Ebbe über eine sonst überflutete Straße erreicht werden kann.

Holy Island was rather our Desaster Island than Treasure Island, as Siri put it. Not that our dear Volvo got drowned in the North Sea – Selma studied the tidetable meticulously – but we were forced into the lifestyle of monks at the first evening.
