It’s good that they catch some poachers, but what can be done?
Educate the buyers/users? Hard but worth attempting.
Protect the species? Of course, but hard too and very expensive, but crucial.
Cut out the middle man? Not easy either but penalties and punishments should be sufficiently severe to at least minimise risks to those would-be poachers that are after a quick buck! More professional poachers – well, that’s a real challenge!
